  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon milk
  • 12 ounces unsalted butter (softened, 3 sticks)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 34 tablespoons heavy whipping cream (cold)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cheesecake layer by mixing cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then blend in flour, vanilla, cinnamon, heavy cream, and eggs.
  3. Pour cheesecake batter into a prepared pan and bake for about 60 minutes until set. Cool completely.
  4. For the spice cake layer, combine dry ingredients and cream butter with brown sugar. Add egg, milk, and mix in dry ingredients.
  5. Pour half of the spice batter into another pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  6. Assemble by layering the spice cake on a platter, topping with cheesecake, then adding the pumpkin pie, followed by the remaining spice cake batter.
  7. Frost with buttercream made from beaten butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream.
