  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 pints strawberry ice cream
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 23 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons milk (or whipping cream)
  • Toppings: freeze-dried strawberries, additional Oreos

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Crush the Golden Oreos and mix with melted butter; press into the pan.
  3. Spread half of the softened strawberry ice cream over the crust; freeze until firm (90 minutes).
  4. Beat together butter and powdered sugar for frosting; add vanilla, salt, and milk to achieve desired consistency.
  5. Layer half of the frosting over the ice cream; add another layer of ice cream and freeze again (1 hour).
  6. Frost the top layer and sprinkle with crushed freeze-dried strawberries and Oreos.
  7. Cover and freeze for at least two hours before serving.
