  • 1/2 cup cultured buttermilk
  • 2 cups diced peaches
  • Coarse sparkling sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5 loaf pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a stand mixer, cream together dark brown sugar and unsalted butter until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the batter is light.
  4. In another bowl, combine cake flour, baking powder, salt, and spices. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients with buttermilk until just combined; fold in diced peaches.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  6. Bake for 50–55 minutes until risen and a toothpick comes out clean or with moist crumbs.
