Instructions

  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts, remove any yellow leaves, rinse under cold water, and pat dry.
  3. Boil salted water in a large pot; add Brussels sprouts and cook for 6-8 minutes until tender.
  4. Smash each sprout gently with a potato masher or fork until slightly flattened.
  5. Place smashed sprouts on a parchment-lined baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Roast for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
