  • ½ cup roasted garlic cloves
  • 1 (16.9-ounce) jar prepared Alfredo sauce
  • 1 ¼ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 10 cooked lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Mushrooms
  • Onions
  • Seasonings

Instructions

  1. Blend the roasted garlic with the Alfredo sauce until smooth; set aside.
  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté chopped chicken until cooked through; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, melt butter and sauté onions and mushrooms until tender.
  4. Stir in flour, then gradually whisk in chicken stock followed by half and half.
  5. Add the blended garlic sauce and seasonings; simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in cooked chicken, mushrooms, parmesan cheese, and adjust seasoning as needed.
  7. Serve warm with broken lasagna noodles mixed in or served on top.
