  • 4 sweet onions
  • ½ cup apple cider
  • 1½ cups ricotta cheese
  • 1⅓ cups pumpkin purée
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh sage leaves
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crisp; set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, caramelize sliced onions with salt and pepper for about 30 minutes, then add apple cider and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry and prepare it on parchment-lined baking sheets.
