  • 13 canned pineapple slices
  • 13 maraschino cherries
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together room temperature butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream; mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, baking powder, cornstarch, and salt; mix until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Spoon mixture into the prepared cake pan.
  5. Top each spoonful with a pineapple slice and maraschino cherry.
  6. Place cookie dough on top using a scoop and flatten slightly with an offset spatula.
