  • 3 quarts firm green cherry tomatoes
  • 9 cloves garlic
  • 6 teaspoons pickling spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 12 sprigs fresh dill
  • 6 slices jalapeno peppers
  • 3 cups white vinegar (5%)
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar (5%)
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pickling salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare jars by adding garlic, pickling spice, red pepper flakes, dill, and jalapeno slices.
  2. Pack the jars tightly with green cherry tomatoes after poking holes in them.
  3. Boil the brine ingredients together until bubbling.
  4. Use a funnel to fill each jar with hot brine, leaving a ¼ inch headspace.
  5. Wipe jar rims clean and securely seal with lids.
  6. Allow jars to cool before refrigerating.
  7. Let them pickle for at least seven days before enjoying.
