  • 2 1/3 cups boiling water
  • 1 (6 oz) box peach gelatin
  • 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned)
  • 2 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for cream cheese layer)
  • 1 (8 oz) carton whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, dissolve peach gelatin in boiling water and mix in chopped peaches. Let cool until soft set.
  3. Crush pretzels in a resealable bag with a rolling pin, then combine with powdered sugar and melted butter.
  4. Press pretzel mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  5. Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping.
  6. Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust, then layer the soft set gelatin on top.
  7. Refrigerate for about 4 hours until fully set before serving.
