  • ½ cup granulated sugar (combined)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 7 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Peel, halve, pit, and slice peaches into 1/4 inch pieces.
  2. In a skillet, combine sliced peaches with brown sugar and granulated sugar over medium heat until sugars dissolve.
  3. Melt butter in a 9×13 baking dish in the oven, then set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in milk until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish without mixing with melted butter.
