  • 6 large croissants
  • 16 oz. deli sliced ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 3 tablespoons raspberry preserves
  • 7 eggs
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1½ tablespoons Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Cut each croissant in half and spread raspberry preserves on one side. Layer with ham and Swiss cheese, then top with the other half.
  3. Cut each sandwich in half and arrange them closely in the baking dish.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, and Dijon mustard; pour over the croissants gently pressing down to soak.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake covered with foil for 40 minutes; then uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes until set.
  7. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
