  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 8 ounces raspberries

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine cream, milk, and 1 cup of sugar over medium heat until dissolved (5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Cool completely.
  2. Blend raspberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar; strain through a fine mesh sieve.
  3. Pour the cooled base into an ice cream maker and churn until soft serve consistency.
  4. Divide the base: mix one part with orange juice and food coloring; another with lime juice and green food coloring.
  5. Layer flavors in a container, alternating between raspberry, lime, and orange mixtures. Freeze for 4-6 hours until firm.
