  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 1 jar raspberry preserves
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 24 tbsp whole milk (to desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. Combine warm water and sugar in a bowl, sprinkle yeast on top, and let sit until foamy.
  2. Mix flours and salt in a stand mixer; add the yeast mixture and 4 tbsp olive oil. Knead until smooth.
  3. Grease a bowl, place dough inside, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 45 minutes).
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F. Punch down dough, shape into a rectangle on greased baking sheet, and create dimples.
  5. Fill dimples with raspberry preserves and drizzle remaining olive oil over the top.
  6. Bake for about 18 minutes until golden brown; cool slightly before glazing with a mixture of confectioners' sugar and milk.
