  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 24 tbsp milk (to adjust consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and sugar; stir in yeast and let sit until bubbly.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, red food coloring, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt; knead until smooth.
  4. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and optional chocolate chips.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly and roll tightly.
