  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup chicken or beef broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pound uncooked potato gnocchi
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onion; cook for 7–10 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning; cook for another minute.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, broth, cream, and gnocchi. Stir well; bring to a bubble, cover, and reduce heat. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Uncover and stir again; cook until gnocchi is soft and sauce thickens to your liking.
  5. Stir in parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
