Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 fresh salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Dried herbs (dill or basil) to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the salmon skin-side down for about 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  3. Remove the salmon from the pan and flake it into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, add lemon juice and dried herbs, then let simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Add the flaked salmon and cooked pasta into the skillet; toss gently until combined.
  7. Serve immediately with an extra drizzle of lemon juice if desired.
