  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the sirloin steak with smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes until browned on all sides; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add barbecue sauce and heavy cream. Simmer until heated through.
  4. Stir in the cooked pasta and seared steak until well coated in sauce.
  5. Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted.
