Ingredients

  • Ritz crackers (1 sleeve)
  • Butter (1/2 stick)
  • Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup)
  • Bacon (2 slices)
  • Yellow onion (1 diced)
  • Green onions (1 cup sliced)
  • Cream cheese (3 packs – 8 oz each)
  • Eggs (3)
  • Whipping cream (1 cup)
  • Crabmeat (16 oz)
  • Swiss cheese (2 cups shredded)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. For the crust, crush crackers and mix with melted butter and Parmesan cheese. Press firmly into a pie dish or springform pan.
  2. Cook bacon until crispy; reserve grease. Sauté diced onion in the remaining grease until translucent.
  3. In a stand mixer, combine cooked bacon, onions, cream cheese, eggs, whipping cream, and Swiss cheese until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in drained crabmeat.
  5. Pour filling over crust and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and just set in the center.
  6. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate overnight before serving.
