  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed light or dark)
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, and cinnamon until smooth; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Cream melted butter with sugars until fluffy, then add eggs one at a time and mix well.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture and fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough, flatten it, add a teaspoon of peanut butter filling, and encase it by rolling into a ball.
