Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil and butter for frying

Instructions

  1. Place each chicken breast between plastic wrap and pound to an even thickness of about 1 inch.
  2. Set up a breading station: mix flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in one bowl; whisk eggs and milk in another; combine breadcrumbs with Romano cheese in the third.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the flour mixture, dip into the egg mixture, then press into the breadcrumb mixture.
