  • 4 cups fresh pineapple (chopped)
  • 4 bananas (sliced)
  • 23 cups prepared whipped topping
  • 810 cherries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bake the vanilla cake according to package directions. Cool completely before cubing.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, sugar, corn starch, and salt. Stir until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and butter until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. In a trifle bowl or Mason jars, layer cubed cake, pudding, chopped strawberries, pineapple, and banana slices. Repeat layering until containers are filled.
  4. Top with whipped topping and garnish with cherries.
