  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk (1 can)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie crust by mixing cold butter with flour and salt in a food processor until pea-sized. Slowly add ice-cold water until the dough forms.
  2. Chill the dough for 1-2 hours, then roll out and fit into a pie dish.
  3. Par-bake the crust at 375°F for about 20 minutes.
  4. Whisk together apple butter, eggs, dark brown sugar, flour, vanilla extract, condensed milk, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and cinnamon until smooth for the filling.
  5. Pour the filling into the par-baked crust and bake at 375°F for another hour or until set.
  6. Cool completely before serving.
