- 15.25 oz Red Velvet Cake Mix
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup Red, White & Blue M&M candies
- ½ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine the red velvet cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs until well blended.
- Gently fold in half of the M&M's until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes for optimal texture.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Using a medium cookie scoop, portion out the dough and roll each ball in granulated sugar before placing them on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8 to 9 minutes until slightly puffy but still underdone.
- Immediately press additional M&M's into the top of each cookie after removing them from the oven. Let cool for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
